summer. summer time....

We have been busy. And by busy I am mean we have been having a blast with family, and friends. Nothing super pressing in our lives, oh, I sing tomorrow but other than that we are swinging.

Here is my nephew who just got home from a mission:

He is an incredible human being.

In his home coming talk he talked about the importance of speaking from your heart...and how once he got the language down he figured he would be a better communicator, but in all reality it provided a little arrogance.  Therefore he didn't communicate as well. LOVE IT.

My other Nephew played the piano at the home coming with my sister...it was incredible and I wanted to sob. It was so beautiful. "I believe in Christ, he is my king"

I am super proud of my brother and his wife. Raising a family, with challenges is hard work. I can only imagine how it must be to watch your children be incredible adults. I am so grateful for my brother, for many reasons.  He and his wife are a great example of working through challenges.

NOW> I must state how weird it is to see your nephews dating, in this next photo my brother's youngest is chillin with his HOTTIE as he calls her:

It was almost like they stole away to chat....
And to end this blog post with proper flare, I must show what I was wearing at the airport...needles to say I was stared at ALOT;
My nephew went to Austria and Germany for his mission...I look forward to many conversations in German. AND food. Lots of Austro-German food.

Please tell me you wrote that sign, too. You would be the only one that knows that much German, right?

Good luck tomorrow! I won't be able to attend, but I will be cheering you on in spirit. Love you so!

I love how you threw that in there, "Oh and I sing tomorrow." :) Wishing I could be there to hear you sing. You must tell me how it goes.

It looks like you got some good family time in! I love homecomings...of any kind.

Austro-German food. And you've got a title for the next Food Network show. :)

You look freaking HOT with that hat on...you've got to tell me where you got it! I want one! :) And if you ever decide to do a Austro-German feast, count us in. You know making food from other countries is right up our alley (do you like how I just invited myself? :) Sounds like it was a fantastic homecoming! And again, SO good to see you. I'm still having dreams about the coconut cake. mmm...
