4 and 2

We are in a recession right now. Many have less money, have little job security, are worried about keeping their businesses, and sleeping less. As a result I find myself stopping more often to observe two numbers. 4 and 2. With Mother's day just around the corner, I am celebrating early. For myself. I love mother's day, not because I get appreciated but because I get to appreciate how much better my life is with two beautiful children.

These Photos help remind me, that we in our own home were under construction during our own recession while they were babies. Wow, the most important things, are not things. Both Photos were taken mother's day weekend.

Aiden ran out of Preschool on Tuesday begging me not to look at what he had made me for mother's day. Then, the entire ride home he gave me the exact coordinates of where he was going to hide my gift until "mbother's day."
