A moment of clarity.

It is really easy right now to feel jaded about America. The recession, hugely controversial action of our government, health care, and insurance. I am living in a time of contention. People are angry, spending is down, profit is way down, and our government is spending billions. In a time like this, hope is hard to find in anyone really.

In Egypt, Muslims do not eat pork, of any kind. Only the Christian faith eats pork, and it is a huge source of their income. Also in Egypt much of the biodegradable foods that would be thrown away are fed to the pigs.

This news reel brings me hope. At least knowing I am in a well informed country.



This is the public health OFFICIAL who has decided to kill all swine. There was never a case of swine flu in Egypt...now that all the pigs are dead, there is ONE case in Egypt.
