Closeups May 2009

Everywhere we go, the commentary about Aiden and Oliver's hair is the best. "What beautiful children! and look at their hair!" "How did you get such light children? You are so dark?" My personal favorite: "are they adopted?" Not because I am offended, but what if they were and we hadn't told them yet...I mean, they can understand what we are saying. :)

Anyway, Aiden is the master at taking the camera and taking pictures of things I would never take pictures of. As I was going through my pictures the other day I found that he had taken self portraits of himself, and Oli, and Ryan. when I asked him to get a closeup of me, he wouldn't. I guess a true artist never takes pictures on demand...so the closeup of me, I took. And man, I love my bangs.










So, this is what we all look like right now. I think our children do look like us. Especially underneath the surface.
